Rustling End, Codicote SG4 8TD

(Take the B656 north from Codicote or south from Hitchin. Going north from Codicote, after 1 mile turn left into ‘Three Houses Lane’ (going south from Hitchin take the B656 towards Codicote, travel through Langley then turn right into ‘Three Houses Lane’). Then take the first turning on the right to Rustling End. Rustling End Cottage is the second house on the left-hand side of the lane.

Meander through the wild flower meadow to a cottage garden with contemporary planting. Behind lumpy hedges explore a simple box parterre, topiary, reflecting pool and abundant planting. Deep borders feature blue Camassia in late spring. The terrace hosts drought tolerant planting. Hens in residence. The garden also hosts many wild birds at our feeders. Evening opening is Saturday, April 30th- 5.30pm to 7.30pm. There will be wine and soft drinks for a donation to the NGS. The afternoon opening is on Monday, May 2nd from 2.00pm to 5.30pm, with home-made teas available
